On November 13th, Dreamscape is proud to welcome to Tallinn one of the UK’s most seismically influential figures in all of electronic music: Kode9.

Most widely known as the founder of Hyperdub and for shaping the sound of the early UK dubstep scene through releasing the works of Burial and his own collaborative projects with The Spaceape, Steve Goodman aka Kode9 is a London-based DJ/Producer, artist and writer who has built a world of warped bass and scattered rhythms that has changed the course of electronic dance music.

Whether it be footwork, dubstep or rough kuduro, Kode9 has ears like antennae that reach across the globe to scan for innovative styles of club music, recruiting pioneering artists under his wing to expand the Hyperdub universe. Alongside the Hyperdub boss, we have curated a lineup of kindred explorers of all things futuristic and experimental in club music.

Joining us from Poland is Gary Gwadera - drummer, composer, anthropologist and creator of Footberk, an original style of club music combining Polish traditional dance music with Chicago’s footwork, as well as artist/DJ Silvia Kastel from London - a long-time NTS Radio resident combining her history of sonic exploration with sensual club music that fuses pop with bass-heavy driving polyrhythms.

Local support includes a live set by Dreamscape resident Type1, B2B action between Nikolajev and Susanna Raiend and forward thinking Bristol-via-Poland bass music by Inklingroom boss Wash Electra.
