Triangle · A Walk Through Subcultures

Airi Triisberg leads a walk through places where Tallinn’s literary, punk and LGBTQ+ communities crossed paths in the mid-1980s. Through the story of the “triangle” formed by the Moskva, Varblane and Pegasus cafés, the tour explores encounters between subcultures and early acts of protest in the late Soviet era. The route passes through Vabaduse väljak, Harjumägi and Harju tänav, including stairs up and down.
