A production by Finnish theatre company Helsinki 98, based on Svetlana Alexievich’s book Second-Hand Time. At its centre is 87-year-old Vasily Petrovich, who continues to believe in communism after the collapse of the USSR. The production explores how a political system can survive its own collapse in a person’s beliefs.
