XXI TALLINN DESIGN FESTIVAL 2026

The 21st Disainiöö / Tallinn Design Festival will take place from 28 September to 4 October 2026 at Põhjala Factory and this year carries the theme “Future of Product Design”.

The largest design festival in the Baltics invites design lovers, professionals, entrepreneurs and everyone interested to take part in a week-long programme featuring nearly one hundred events, exhibitions, workshops, talks and special projects.

This year, Disainiöö focuses on the role of product design in a rapidly changing world. The programme explores how sustainability, material awareness, adaptability, inclusivity and responsible production are shaping the next generation of products and services.

What kind of products will we need in the future?

How can we create objects that last, adapt and take both people and the environment into account?

What does responsible and future-proof product design look like?

At the heart of the festival are the international conference “Future of Product Design”, the Estonian Design Awards gala and the BRUNO 2026 Product Design Award exhibition, the travelling exhibition “Well Made – What It Means Today”, the sustainable fashion design performance DOM – Design Is in Fashion, PechaKucha Night Tallinn, the Design Auction, INTERIOR+, the weekend design market Design Street, light installations, the satellite programme and much more.
