Kaks uut bändi Eesti indie maastikul annavad koos kontserti, mis kummalegi omamoodi verstapost.

Mullu sündinud Tallinna viisik Town Flesh tähistab oma debüüt EP ilmumist, seda esitledes samal päeval, kui see ilmub. Ixtlan on veelgi uuem Pärnu-Tallinna nelik, kes andis suvel esimese kontserdi Pärnus ja nüüd teeb oma pealinna debüüdi.

Ixtlani võluv debüütsingel 'Tundmatus' sobis ideaalselt suve algul ilmuma ning tegu on ühtlasi uue kollektiiv-plaadifirma Turtlewave'i ühe esimese sammuga. Samal ajal on Town Fleshi eelmise sügise debüütsingel 'Miracle Worker' ning aasta algul järgnenud 'There's a Last Time for Everything' vihmasema ja pimeda aja afäärid, millele lisanduvad  kontserdipäeval uued psühhedeelsed EP palad  koos sõprade Pia Frausi ja The Lunacy Of Flowersi remiksidega.

Üks eestikeelne, teine ingliskeelne bänd, üks soe ja suviselt unistav, teine jahedalt romantiline. Kahe bändiga tutvumine ja toetamine vaid kümnekas.

Two new bands on the Estonian indie scene are joining forces for a concert that marks a milestone for both.

Town Flesh, a Tallinn-based quintet formed last year, is celebrating the release of its debut EP by presenting it on the very day it drops. Ixtlan is an even newer quartet—spanning Pärnu and Tallinn—that played its first show in Pärnu this summer and is now making its capital-city debut.

Ixtlan’s charming debut single, "Tundmatus," was a perfect fit for early summer and represents one of the first steps for the new collective-label Turtlewave.

Meanwhile, Town Flesh’s debut single from last autumn, "Miracle Worker," and the follow-up "There's a Last Time for Everything" (released early this year) capture the mood of darker, rainier days; these tracks will be joined on the night of the concert by new, psychedelic EP cuts, alongside remixes by friends Pia Fraus and The Lunacy Of Flowers.

One band sings in Estonian, the other in English; one is warm and dreamily summery, the other coolly romantic. Catching both bands and showing your support costs just ten euros.
