This support group is for people who have a transgender loved one and want to better understand how to support them and handle their own feelings. Participants can share experiences, listen to others’ stories and discuss them together in a friendly setting. The conversations are led by Monika Meurer and Laura Barbo and are mainly intended for people who are not parents of a trans person.

Kui su elus on keegi sulle kallis inimene, kes on transsooline ja sa ei ole päris kindel, kuidas temast aru saada, kuidas teda toetada või kuidas enda tunnete-mõtetega toime tulla, siis see tugigrupp on sulle. Saame enda kogemusi jagada, kuulata teiste lugusid ja üheskoos sõbralikult arutledes teineteist toetada.

Kuna transinimeste vanemate tugigrupp on juba olemas, ootame eelkõige inimesi, kes ei ole transinimesele vanem, vaid näiteks partner, sõber või õve.

Vestlust aitavad üleval hoida Monika Meurer ja Laura Barbo.

Vestlused toimuvad inglise keeles. Kui on kindel soov eesti keeles arutleda, anna meile teada.

If you have a loved one in your life who is transgender and you are not quite sure how to understand them, how to support them, or how to deal with your own feelings and thoughts, this support group is for you. We can share our experiences, listen to others' stories, and support each other through friendly discussions.

Since there already is a support group for parents of transgender people, we are mainly welcoming people who are not the parent of a trans person, but for example a partner, friend, or sibling.

The discussions are in English and are facilitated by Monika Meurer & Laura Barbo.
